Animal Outreach
Wildlife services
Animal Eye Center provides free examinations and treatment for wildlife in need of specialized eye care. We work closely with wildlife groups in an effort to treat eye disease in the hope that injured animals can be rehabilitated and returned to the wild. Our veterinary ophthalmologists feel privileged to treat these challenging and interesting cases. We are deeply gratified when some of these patients can return to their normal habitat.

Animal rescue groups
Animal Eye Center provides discounted services to many rescue groups in our community. We hope our help with these patients will make them more easily adoptable. Many wonderful pets find their way into animal shelters and foster homes for animal rescue groups each year. These groups do a wonderful service for our animal friends, and we are happy to be able to aid them in their adoption efforts.

ACVO service dog eye examinations
Each year in May, the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ACVO) offers free eye examinations for service dogs. Animal Eye Center has been participating in this program since its inception. It is a great way to say thank you to all the service animals that enrich the lives of so many people.
