How the Chico Traveling Clinic works

Our Chico Traveling Clinic provides scheduled specialty eye care on set clinic days. During your visit, we’ll review your pet’s history, perform a focused ophthalmic exam, and discuss findings and treatment recommendations. In some cases, additional diagnostics or advanced care may be recommended at our Rocklin hospital, where we have expanded in-house capabilities for complex cases.

If your pet’s eye appears suddenly painful or abnormal, we encourage you to call as soon as possible. Eye issues can progress quickly, and our team can help you decide whether to schedule the next Chico date or seek more immediate care.

When to Schedule a Chico, CA Eye Care Appointment

Pets are commonly seen at our Chico location for concerns such as:

  • Squinting, blinking excessively, or holding the eye closed

  • Chronic tearing, discharge, or tear staining
  • A cloudy, blue, or white appearance in the eye
  • Eyelid abnormalities or visible tissue changes around the eye
